The Jordan Aluminum & Copper Factory –which is one part of AEG – was founded in 1976 with a pure Palestinian capital. It was the first factory specialized in the manufacture of household appliances from aluminum and other metals in Palestine.
In 1988 the factory production lines were expanded through the purchase of PALAUM which is the largest factory across the Middle East, and in year 2000 the plant began to produce non-stick household (Teflon).
Working in the factory a team consisted of 40 people working in the production and marketing, the production of the plant covers 80% of the domestic market and 40% of the Israeli market, in addition to 10% as export rate of the factory's production to foreign markets. Quality of the factory's products competes with foreign & Israeli products, seeking at this time to obtain a certificate of quality ISO.
Oversees the management of the factory today, Al Orobah for Import & Export & Industry Co. specialized in importing, manufacturing and distribution of all forms of household appliances besides of plastic garden furniture.
